Barneby Gates is a new company that brings together the talents of Vogue Living Editor, Vanessa Barneby and textile designer, Alice Gates. Although a new venture, their designs have a decidedly nostalgic quality given a contemporary twist. The wallpaper features a collage of vintage British scenes taken from original 19th and 20th century photographs. The original sepia images have been given a beautiful vintage gold finish. It costs £59 (!) per roll and can be ordered directly from Barneby Gates. However luckily for me they will also send an A4 sample of any wallpaper so you can see it properly before you commit to buying (or just want free paper).
